DESCRIPTION:The first of four studio classes in the 2026 Spring term will be led by Robert Simonds ( https://www.keytochangestudio.org/board/ ), Director of Strategic Relationships & Partnerships at Key to Change. You can learn more about Mr. Simonds below:\nRobert H. Simonds has over two decades of experience as a concert violinist, educator, and arts management consultant. He has held tenured positions with major orchestras across the U.S., performed widely as a soloist and chamber musician, and has worked behind the scenes to make the performing arts more valuable to their communities. \nOriginally from Massachusetts, Rob began violin lessons at a young age with his grandmother. While the violin became his career, it also opened doors to countless experiences and opportunities. To further more public-minded objectives, Rob resigned from his position as principal second violinist of the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra in 2021 to earn a Master’s in Public Administration from the Harvard Kennedy School, where he focused on economic policy, social entrepreneurship, and non-profit management.\nAll students are welcome to attend the Studio Class.
