Key to Change Studio, Renton, WA
Students from the Key to Change Studio will premiere new pieces written by Curtis Stewart, our current Composer in Residence. Pieces include “Morning Fog”, “Pinky Dance” and group ensemble pieces “4Left Coast” and “1st Etude”. Students have coached with Curtis this past week, where he’s provided feedback to them in preparation for their performance.
Additionally, students will perform repertoire by Caleb Vaughn-Jones, our inaugural Composer in Residence.
Curtis Stewart is a 4x Grammy-Award nominee and is currently on the faculty at the Juilliard School in New York. He is a member of the PubliQuartet, which performed recently at Jazz Alley.
