Individual Attention. Group Energy. More Ways to Grow.

Why choose between Private and Group Lessons when you can benefit from both? Combo Lessons give violin and viola students personalized instruction to work on individual goals while also experiencing the fun, motivation, and community of making music with their peers.

Get the Best of Both

Sometimes students need extra help with their sound, technique, a difficult passage, or preparing for a performance. That can be hard to address fully in a group setting.

Combo Lessons give students dedicated one on one time with an instructor to focus on exactly what they need. Then, in Group Lessons, students put those skills into action while learning to listen, collaborate, and play confidently with other musicians.

It’s a great option for students who want more personalized support without giving up the friendships, energy, and encouragement that come from learning in a group.

More Instruction. More Confidence. More Progress.

With Combo Lessons, students don’t have to choose between personalized instruction and the experience of making music with others.

Private Lessons give students focused time to strengthen technique, solve problems, and work toward individual goals. Group Lessons give them the opportunity to apply those skills, learn from their peers, and experience the excitement of making music together.

Along the way, students develop stronger practice habits, greater independence, confidence, and the determination to keep going when something feels difficult.
