CANCELLED 3/13 due to snow. Rescheduled for 3/16!
Come support outstanding Key to Change student and graduating senior, Sid Siravara, as he debuts with the Tacoma Community College Orchestra for their winter concert. See TCCO’s schedule of upcoming concerts here.
Sid Siravara grew up in the greater Seattle area, including Issaquah, Sammamish, and Mercer Island, and began playing the violin at age five. In August 2024, he joined Key to Change, where he is a student in the Young Artist Academy studying violin with Dr. Quinton Morris. As a developing young artist, he has performed in masterclasses for distinguished violinists Noah Geller, Melissa White, Curtis Stewart, and Hilary Hahn. His primary musical inspirations are Hilary Hahn and Itzhak Perlman, whose recordings he listens to most often. He is especially drawn to the works of Shostakovich and Tchaikovsky. His goal as a musician is to create meaningful music that he can share through performance with others. In addition to his musical pursuits, he plans to attend college to study chemistry or chemical engineering, hoping to contribute to a more sustainable future. Outside of violin, he enjoys reading, exploring new foods, and listening to and playing a wide variety of musical styles.
Sid will perform the first movement of Bach’s Violin Concerto in A minor. The concert is being held in Building 2 on Tacoma Community College‘s campus at 6501 S. 19th Street, Tacoma, WA 98466.
The concert is free and open to the public. Learn more details here. We hope to see you there!
