Many students want to improve but are unsure how to practice effectively or move beyond their current level. These group classes provide expert guidance, clear goals, and consistent feedback so students can make noticeable progress in a short time.
Students will work on:

🎼 Reading music with greater accuracy and fluency

Classes include live piano accompaniment, allowing students to rehearse and perform with a collaborative musician just as they would in formal performances.

🎶 Performance at Benaroya Hall
All students participate in the Solo String Festival at Benaroya Hall on Saturday, March 28, 2026.
This experience includes:
✨ Coaching from professional musicians
✨ Performance in a world class concert venue
✨ A recording of the performance
✨ A memorable milestone for students and families
Festival participation is required as part of the program. Repertoire will be selected by the instructor.
👥 Who Can Participate?
Open to middle and high school violin and viola students who:
✔ Have completed at least one semester in a school orchestra
✔ Can commit to the full four week term
✔ Will participate in the festival performance
Students will be placed into the appropriate class after a brief assessment with the teacher.

Term Dates: March 2 through March 26, 2026
Class Length: One hour
Group Size: Up to 12 students
Sheet music is provided
Class days and times are shared after registration.

Special Winter Term Tuition: $300 ($37.50 per class)
