New speaker series supports college and career exploration

At Key to Change, we believe that every student deserves access to the resources, encouragement, and opportunities needed to pursue higher education and fulfilling careers, regardless of background or zip code.

That’s why we’re proud to launch an exciting new college and career speaker series created specifically for our students and their families. Called Inspiring Possibilities, this ongoing series will bring influential leaders directly into our studio community, including college presidents, university deans, and professionals from different industries who will share their personal stories and offer practical insights about education, careers, and achieving success. Each talk will last roughly an hour, followed by an informal Q&A with light refreshments.

Whether you’re a high school student thinking about your next steps or a parent looking to support your child’s journey, these conversations are meant to inspire and inform. Our goal is simple: to provide real-world knowledge and encouragement from those who have walked the path and now want to help others do the same.

We’re honored to offer this experience to our Key to Change family and invite you to attend, ask questions, and be part of a movement that’s all about unlocking potential and building brighter futures.

Our first lecture will take place on July 24 at 4pm at our Renton studio and will feature Dr. Nancy Coleman, Dean of the Harvard Division of Continuing Education. She is deeply committed to creating access and opportunities for learners of all ages, types, and socio-economic backgrounds. Coleman is passionate about leadership, education entrepreneurship and international education. Coleman’s expertise spans both academia and the corporate world and is the ideal speaker to kick off this series. (Read Dean Coleman’s full bio here)

We hope you can join us as we debut this new series! If you’d like to join us, please sign up here.
