The Starbucks Foundation has awarded Key to Change a 2026 Neighborhood Grant
Key to Change has received its first Neighborhood Grant from The Starbucks Foundation, an investment that will support our mission to inspire underserved students through world-class music instruction and leadership development.
The Starbucks Foundation invests in thriving communities by supporting nonprofit organizations in Seattle, across the country, and around the world. Through its Neighborhood Grants program, Starbucks partners, and Starbucks Alumni nominate local, community-lead nonprofits that are making a meaningful difference where they live and work.
Since 2019, the Neighborhood Grants program has supported organizations that empower youth, fight hunger, uplift families, address homelessness, and promote environmental stewardship. This year, in the program’s seventh year, The Starbucks Foundation awarded more than $4 million to more than 2,700 nonprofit organizations and charities across the United States and Canada.
Key to Change received a $1,000 grant to support our programs that empower young people through music. The grant will help expand access to high quality music education, mentorship, and leadership opportunities that equip students to grow as musicians, community members, and future leaders.
