Last Saturday, Key to Change hosted our annual Holiday Concert at our studio in Renton, and it was our greatest turnout yet! Our largest ever fall student cohort to date performed for a crowd of over a hundred people. With record-breaking attendance and a standing room only crowd, the concert became a joyful celebration of the season, our students, and our wonderful community who support them.

The festive afternoon event brought together a diverse audience of community members, current students and their families, alumni, donors, and longtime supporters. To close the recital, the audience loudly sang and rang bells during spirited renditions of  “We Wish You a Merry Christmas” and “Deck the Halls.” A special visit from Santa added an extra touch of holiday cheer to the occasion.

The concert featured performances from all of our students, ranging from beginners performing for the first time to our most advanced young artists. It was especially meaningful to see students performing solo and alongside their teachers, as well as Key to Change staff joining them on stage. Seeing their sense of accomplishment was the perfect way to close out the year.

We are incredibly proud of all our students’ accomplishments in 2025 and we look forward to all they will achieve in 2026. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped to make this event special. Your support and presence helps make world-class music instruction accessible for all.
