Student performs with Northwest Symphony Orchestra

Eden returns as a soloist with the NW Symphony Orchestra.

Renton, WA – Eden Pawlos, a current violin student at Key to Change will return to perform Bach’s Violin Concerto in A minor with the Northwest Symphony Orchestra on Saturday, March 16th at Highline Performing Arts Center in Burien, WA.

Eden is a junior at Kentridge High School and has been studying the violin the past four years at Key to Change. Her primary instructors are Dr. Quinton Morris, Geoffrey Liu and Noah Geller. She is the first place recipient of the Jessie Montgomery Senior Division at the Key to Change Solo String Festival and the Key to Change Concerto Competition. 

Eden made her solo debut last season with the Northwest Symphony Orchestra performing the Vivaldi’s Violin Concerto in A minor. This season, Eden has made her solo debuts with the Seattle Symphony and Federal Way Symphony Orchestra, and performed for Dr. Jill Biden, the First Lady of the United States. She has also performed in masterclasses for professional musicians, including Curtis Stewart (string faculty at The Juilliard School), Randall Goosby (violin soloist), Jonathon Heyward (music director of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra), among others. 

The mission of the Northwest Symphony Orchestra is a premier orchestra in performing and promoting the music of contemporary northwest composers while also performing, and educating, the public in the full spectrum of orchestra music. The orchestra is led by music director Dr. Anthony Spain.
