Thank you for your ongoing monthly support. Our students thrive through the consistency of regular practice, world-class music instruction, college and career readiness experiences, and varied performance opportunities. Our programming thrives because of the steady support you provide! This quarter, we’re excited to share a special student experience made possible by donors like you.
Chris Ramirez-Eligio, Justice Johnson, and Avi Spillers just returned from seven weeks in Cambridge, MA. They completed the highly competitive Harvard Secondary School Summer Program, where they studied alongside students from around the world. Thanks to generosity from our supporters and our inaugural partnership with Harvard, they experienced rigorous coursework, campus life, and conversations with peers from diverse backgrounds while preparing themselves for future college success. You can hear more from our students in this blog post and in student interview videos shared on our social media channels.
In Case You Missed It

In case you missed it, I wanted to share this special highlight from last month. On August 1, eight students from Key to Change filled the retirement community of University House Wallingford with music, artistry, and inspiring stories of growth for the first time. This event was a chance for students to connect with and serve intergenerational audiences on the North Side. It was well attended and received by residents, so much so that we are in talks for another event in the near future! You can read more about it on the blog here.
We are looking forward to continued growth this fall! Stay tuned for more exciting news and accomplishments that you’ve funded directly. Thank you so much for supporting our community.
