For the third year in a row, Key to Change is proud to receive the Community Accelerator Grant from ArtsFund and Allen Family Philanthropies (formerly known as the Paul G. Allen Family Foundation). Our organization received a $5,000 grant to support our programs. We are so grateful for ArtsFund’s continued support.

A total of $10 million was awarded to 930 Washington state arts and culture organizations in this round of funding. According to ArtsFund, this year’s reach was particularly impactful because “for the first time in the program’s history, awardees represent all 39 Washington State counties.”

“Having access to well-resourced arts organizations in every community impacts livability for all Washingtonians – from economic opportunities to social cohesion and connection,” ArtsFund President and CEO Michael Greer said in a statement.

During a time of upheaval in federal funding, having the support of individuals, state and local government, and private foundations is critical to our success. We know that underserved communities are sadly used to getting less than what they need. That’s why we’re thrilled to share this good news!
